Role Description The Public Relations Manager will oversee and execute Proof of Talk’s PR strategy to strengthen brand visibility and reputation across global media and key industry stakeholders. This full-time remote role involves drafting and distributing press releases, securing media coverage, and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, influencers, and strategic partners. The Public Relations Manager will coordinate announcements around speakers, partnerships, and conference milestones, manage interview requests, and prepare talking points and briefs for executives and spokespeople. Day-to-day responsibilities include monitoring media sentiment, responding to press inquiries, supporting crisis communication when needed, and aligning PR messaging with broader marketing and content initiatives. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams to ensure consistent, on-brand communication across all channels and events.

Qualifications

• Strong public relations and media relations skills, with experience managing Public Relations and Strategic Communications in fast-paced, high-visibility environments.
• Demonstrated ability to craft effective press releases and communication materials tailored to diverse audiences and outlets.
• Excellent written and verbal Communication skills, including the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
• Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with journalists, editors, and media platforms in finance, technology, or digital assets.
• Background in event, conference, or brand communications, ideally within fintech, blockchain, or institutional finance.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Familiarity with digital PR tools, media monitoring platforms, and social media channels to track coverage and amplify messaging.
• Comfort collaborating across time zones and with executive-level stakeholders, with a high level of professionalism and discretion.
