Public Relations Manager

For our client, we are seeking a Public Relations Manager to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space.

This role will help shape external communications that support major people and leadership initiatives in a highly visible technology environment. You will partner closely with senior stakeholders to build media strategies, elevate executive presence, and manage communications around sensitive and high-impact topics. The position also calls for strong judgment, cross-functional influence, and the ability to translate complex organizational moments into clear, compelling narratives.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $129,100 – $163,800 annually

Responsibilities

• Drive high-impact media engagement around AI workforce transformation and leadership initiatives.
• Advise key People executives on securing high-profile external platforms and opportunities.
• Proactively pitch and secure feature stories across various media outlets, including podcasts.
• Counsel stakeholders on sensitive topics and coordinate effective communication strategies.
• Manage external PR agency partners to ensure alignment with internal strategies.
• Track and communicate PR results to stakeholders, focusing on impact and outcomes.
• Optimize PR operations using generative AI tools and automated workflows.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in public relations, corporate communications, or related fields.
• Strong relationships with top-tier media in business, technology, HR, or policy sectors.
• Experience developing and executing communications strategies for specific business areas.
• Proven crisis and issue management skills under tight deadlines.
• Experience leading cross-functional campaigns and managing project timelines.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity while balancing global and regional communication goals.
