Public Relations Officer

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) supports the Department Head in planning and executing communication, public relations, and stakeholder engagement initiatives that strengthen the reputation of the Project and Joint Venture. Serving as a key liaison between the organization, stakeholders, government agencies, media, community groups, and the public, the PRO develops and implements communication strategies and public engagement programs that promote project objectives, foster trust, and maintain positive relationships. The role also manages digital communication platforms and social media channels, and creates basic visual content through photography and videography to effectively communicate project updates, achievements, and community engagement efforts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement communication, public relations, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
• Prepare and distribute press releases, newsletters, presentations, and other communication materials.
• Build and maintain relationships with media, government agencies, community groups, and key stakeholders.
• Organize public events, stakeholder consultations, and promotional activities.
• Manage website and social media content, including planning and publishing.
• Monitor media coverage, public sentiment, and stakeholder feedback.
• Create basic photo and video content for communications and public awareness campaigns.
• Support crisis communication efforts and respond to public inquiries and concerns.
• Prepare reports on communication activities, stakeholder engagement, and social media performance.
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, branding standards, and communication guidelines.
• Promote awareness of health, safety, environmental, and ISO compliance initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, Political Science, Public Administration, or a related field.
• At least three (3)-year experience in public relations, communications, stakeholder engagement, or a related field.
• Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in social media management and content creation.
• Basic photography and videography skills are an advantage.

Willing to accept a project-based employment arrangement.

Pay: Php34,000.00 - Php45,000.00 per month
