PUBLIC RELATIONS (PROJECT BASED)

Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and highly capable Public Relations Officer to manage the company’s public image, customer concerns, online reputation, and external communications. The successful candidate will be responsible for addressing negative feedback, complaints, and sensitive matters in a professional, diplomatic, and timely manner while protecting and strengthening the company’s reputation.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage the company’s public presence across social media platforms, online review sites, and other communication channels.
• Respond professionally to customer complaints, negative comments, inquiries, and concerns.
• Develop appropriate and well-composed responses to sensitive or potentially damaging public feedback.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to investigate complaints and ensure appropriate resolutions.
• Escalate serious or sensitive concerns to management when necessary.
• Maintain a professional, respectful, and consistent tone in all public communications.
• Monitor customer feedback and identify recurring issues that may affect the company’s reputation.
• Provide recommendations to management regarding reputation management and customer relations.
• Assist in preparing official statements, announcements, and responses during sensitive situations.
• Maintain accurate records of complaints, responses, escalations, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Customer Service teams to ensure consistent communication.
• Support initiatives that promote a positive public image and strengthen customer trust in the company.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with appropriate discretion.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Previous experience in Public Relations, Corporate Communications, Customer Relations, Reputation Management, or a similar role is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Ability to handle difficult or sensitive situations with professionalism and sound judgment.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and online reputation management.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple concerns simultaneously.
• Professional, diplomatic, and composed when dealing with challenging situations.
• Experience in the travel and tourism industry is an advantage.
