Minimum
Qualification:

High school diploma/GED, and one (1) year of work experience in law enforcement, corrections, firefighting, EMS, or rescue service, one (1) year of which is involved in providing training applicable to the area of assignment as an adjunct instructor or as a field training officer on special assignment. Must be eligible to obtain Georgia P.O.S.T. General Instructor certification under applicable profession and any required Georgia P.O.S.T. specialty instructor certifications.

Note:

This position is assigned to the NE BCOT within training. Additionally, this position will assist with all in-service and pre-service orientation classes held at Northeast BCOT and quarterly firearms training for Northeast BCOT, this position may require travel to offsite for quarterly firearms. In addition to the interview process, the candidates will be required to complete the PAT and a Teach-Back. Position can be hired as a PST1 or PST2 depending upon experience and is open to internal and external candidates.
