Public Sector Senior Architect

For our client, we are seeking a Public Sector Senior Architect to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

In this remote role, you will partner closely with sales and internal technical teams to shape solution recommendations that meet complex customer needs. This position blends technical credibility, consultative selling support, and cross-functional influence across product, engineering, and solution engineering functions. You will also serve as a trusted thought leader who helps the organization anticipate customer challenges and refine future offerings.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $266,100 – $399,100 annually

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales teams to identify solutions for customer needs
• Evaluate the technical and business trade-offs of multiple solution options
• Act as a thought leader and evangelist in your technical specialization
• Learn adjacent technologies to strengthen core knowledge and market relevance
• Mentor the solution engineering community within the organization
• Work closely with product management on successful product launches
• Identify common customer pain points and trends and share insights with internal teams

Qualifications

• 8+ years of industry experience in a technical role
• 5+ years in a presales capacity
• Deep knowledge of enterprise networking solutions and products
• Experience in public speaking and publishing technical content
• BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
