Job Overview

Responsibilities

• Installation, maintenance, and repair of water, sewer, and gas utilities
• Maintenance and repair of streets, alleys, and ditches
• Locate underground utilities through JULIE system
• General Maintenance on equipment
• Read Meters
• Must be able to work in ALL weather conditions
• Must be able to work well with the public
• Must be prepared to work overtime
• Willing to rotate on call, after scheduled

Requirements

• Must live in a 30-minute response time of Stonington
• Natural Gas Operator Certification (IF NOT CERTIFIED, you will be required to become Certified within a 6-month probation period
• CDL or will need to obtain one
• Heavy equipment knowledge and experience
• Must be able to read and follow maps
• High school diploma or equivalent
• If hired, applicant will be required to take a drug test

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
