Publisher Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Publish and schedule finished articles on WordPress across multiple domains using Gutenberg/Classic Editor.
• Manage the WordPress media library and ensure articles are correctly formatted before going live.
• Set and verify categories, tags, slugs, meta titles, and meta descriptions for each article.
• Review published content for formatting issues, including broken embeds, duplicate headings, missing alt text, spacing, and other layout issues.
• Source relevant and rights-cleared images from stock and press libraries.
• Perform basic image editing such as cropping, resizing, compressing, and adjusting aspect ratios for web publishing.
• Use creative judgment to create text overlays, collages, and alternate image crops where required.
• Identify and add relevant internal links using natural and varied anchor text.
• Identify orphan pages and missing internal-linking opportunities.
• Apply basic knowledge of off-page SEO, including backlinks, domain authority, and dofollow/nofollow links.
• Use Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and/or SEMrush for basic SEO checks and reporting.
• Coordinate with editorial and SEO teams to ensure articles are published accurately and within defined timelines.
