Publisher Specialist

Job Summary
Data Demand is looking for a Publisher to manage the daily publishing workflow across our technology publications and social media platforms. The ideal candidate should have a strong interest in enterprise technology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to identify high-impact news that drives audience engagement and website traffic.

This role requires someone who can monitor industry developments, publish news articles efficiently, optimize content distribution across multiple channels, and collaborate with content and design teams to ensure timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor global technology news throughout the day across areas such as AI, cybersecurity, cloud computing, data, digital transformation, enterprise software, IT infrastructure, martech, fintech, HR tech, and other B2B technology sectors.
• Identify trending, relevant, and high-impact stories that have the potential to increase website traffic, engagement, and readership.
• Publish news articles and other relevant content across multiple publication websites while ensuring proper formatting, categorization, tagging, metadata, SEO elements, and publishing standards.
• Publish social media posts for LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (Twitter) to maximize reach and engagement.
• Write compelling headlines and content pieces that encourage clicks without compromising editorial quality.
• Ensure all published content is accurate, free from grammatical errors, and follows editorial guidelines.
• Monitor breaking news and publish time-sensitive stories with speed and accuracy.
• Coordinate with writers and editors whenever additional content or updates are required.
• Assist the graphics team occasionally by suggesting visual concepts and selecting images for news posts when needed.
• Maintain consistency in branding, formatting, and publishing standards across all websites and social media platforms.
• Track the performance of published content and identify content trends that contribute to higher traffic and engagement.
• Recommend improvements in publishing strategy based on audience behavior and industry trends.
• Ensure all publishing deadlines are met while managing multiple publications simultaneously.

Required Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong news judgment and the ability to identify stories that resonate with technology audiences.
• Good understanding of enterprise technology and B2B technology industries.
• Familiarity with LinkedIn, Facebook, and X (Twitter) publishing best practices.
• Basic understanding of SEO, keywords, metadata, tags, and content optimization.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to publishing accuracy.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with editorial, marketing, and design teams.
