Job summary

The Pump Dispensing Attendant will be responsible for efficiently dispensing fuel to customers, handling transactions accurately, maintaining a clean and safe dispensing area, and providing excellent customer service.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

• Dispense fuel accurately and efficiently to customers.
• Attend to customers politely and professionally.
• Operate fuel dispensing pumps safely and correctly.
• Receive and process cash, POS, transfers, or other approved payments.
• Ensure accurate recording of daily sales and transactions.
• Monitor fuel dispensing activities and report any discrepancies.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the pump area.
• Follow all safety and operational procedures.
• Report equipment faults, spills, or safety concerns promptly.
• Assist with other assigned duties when required.

Requirements:

• Minimum qualification of ND
• Previous experience as a pump attendant or in a similar customer-facing role is an advantage.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Must be smart, neat, responsible, and presentable.
• Ability to handle cash and basic transactions accurately.
• Must be honest, trustworthy, punctual, and hardworking.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure.
• Must be willing to work on a shift rotation.
• Must be safety-conscious and able to follow instructions.
• Proximity to Rumuji Choba is an added advantage.
