PUMP SHOP SUPERVISOR

ROLE STATEMENT:

The Pump Shop Supervisor will be a member of the Maintenance Department responsible for maintaining the pump shop to ensure safe and efficient fluid end repair/replacement and readiness testing for equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager and taking day-to-day direction from the Fracturing Manager and/or Coiled Tubing Department Supervisor, the Pump Shop Supervisor will focus on providing maintenance and operational assistance including safely operating Class 1 units in the district yard, ensuring adequate materials and supplies are available, as well as adhering to all Calfrac HSE policies and procedures.

SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for coordination of removing/installing all required fluid ends and treating iron and rebuilding components
• Testing units after repairs have been completed as per District requirements
• Operate Class 1 units related to Fracturing, Coiled Tubing, and Transport service lines
• Drive Class 1 vehicles within the district yard and region in a safe manner when needed
• Assist with servicing and maintaining Calfrac equipment
• Assist with new hire onboarding and training initiatives including conducting shop and yard tours for OaTS
• Operate the forklift when required

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Class 1 driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract
• 5+ years of experience working in oilfield services and specific service line experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic computer skills would be beneficial to this position (Microsoft Word and Excel
• Overhead crane certification will be an asset
• Fork Lift Certificate will be an asset
