Pump/Drainage Engineer

Flowright Construction Ltd is a well-established commercial plumbing and drainage company located in Welwyn Garden City, dedicated to serving clients in the hospitality industry across the UK. Our client base is predominantly high-end hotels and restaurant groups and we offer an extensive level of services within the plumbing and drainage disciplines. Our services range from small emergency callouts to comprehensive maintenance packages and large installation projects. We are looking to continually build our engineering teams due to a growing volume of work and our seeking new engineers who have the right attitude to fit into our business model. We are looking for recruits who are keen to work and earn money.

Position Overview:

The office is located in Welwyn Garden City, but we cover jobs within London and the south of England. Travel will be a component part of the role so a willingness to travel in and around London is essential.

Hourly Rate - £30 per booked hour on site (Monday to Friday). £35 per booked hour on weekends and bank holidays.

Shift Pattern – Monday to Friday

Shift times – 9 hours booked time on site. Timings vary around work activity

Role:

We are looking for a pump specialist who has drainage knowledge and experience. We are not looking for a drainage engineer who has basic knowledge on pumps. Applicants will only be considered if they can prove their comprehensive understanding and competency across various drainage and water pumping systems. This would need to include fault finding, electrical testing and complete installation capabilities. Work will range from system breakdowns, servicing and complete installations on commercial pumping systems. Alongside specific pump work applicants will need to be willing to undertake general drainage work that coincides with the pump systems we service. The role will not purely be focussed on pumps.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth analysis of drainage issues to provide effective solutions and recommendations.
• Perform reactive, planned maintenance, and project work related to commercial kitchens and the hospitality industry.
• Ensure timely and high-quality service delivery to minimise downtime for our valued clients.
• Ensure job administration is completed to a high standard. This is done on the mobile app where job reports and pictures are uploaded. Our customers love our reporting standards so the ability to do this is essential.

Required Knowledge:

We need engineers with experience and expertise in some or all of the following areas:

• Detailed knowledge and understanding of commercial pumping systems. Fault finding, testing, repair and new installation competency will be a minimum requirement.
• Drainage system tracing
• Blockage clearance
• CCTV investigations/surveys
• Tanker Support
• HPWJ

Qualifications:

• Commercial drainage experience (3 years)
• A strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering lasting solutions.
• Flexibility to work long shifts as needed to support our clients and maximise earnings.
• Driving License

Pay: From £30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 per week
