Punch Press Operator

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Punch Press Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating punch presses and related machinery to produce high-quality metal components efficiently and accurately. Your expertise in mechanical operations, blueprint reading, and machine setup will ensure smooth production processes. Responsibilities

• Operate punch press machines (300 Ton to 800Ton) safely and efficiently to produce metal parts according to specifications.
• Assist the Die setter to setup the stamping punch press
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to determine proper machine settings and tooling requirements.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained.
• Use hand tools, calipers, and other measurement devices for quality inspection and precise machining.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating punch presses or similar manufacturing machinery in a production environment.
• Ability to read blueprints accurately and perform basic math calculations for measurements and adjustments.
• Skilled in using calipers, hand tools, and performing quality inspections to ensure product standards are met.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to crane operation, forklift handling, welding, and machine operation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting equipment issues.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
