Purchase accountant

We are looking for a Purchase Accountant to join our RMC plant team. The ideal candidate should have basic knowledge of purchase accounting, invoices, GST, vendor payments, and stock/material records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record and verify purchase invoices, bills, and supporting documents.
• Maintain purchase entries in accounting/ERP software.
• Coordinate with vendors for invoices, statements, and payment-related queries.
• Maintain records of raw materials such as cement, aggregates, sand, admixtures, etc.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and purchase ledgers.
• Assist in GST-related purchase documentation and input tax credit records.
• Coordinate with the plant/store team for material receipts and GRN records.
• Check purchase orders, delivery challans, weighbridge slips, and invoices.
• Prepare purchase and vendor reports for management.
• Assist the accounts team with day-to-day accounting activities.

Requirements:

• B.Com / M.Com or equivalent qualification preferred.
• 0–2 years of experience in purchase/accounts; RMC, construction, manufacturing, or similar industry preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Tally/ERP and MS Excel.
• Understanding of GST and purchase invoices.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and work with deadlines.
