Job Summary

We are looking for a Stores / Purchase Executive to manage day-to-day procurement activities, inventory control, material receiving, storage, and issuance. The candidate should have good knowledge of purchase processes, vendor coordination, inventory management, documentation, and ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

Purchase / Procurement

• Handle purchase requirements and prepare Purchase Orders (POs) based on approved requirements.
• Source materials, consumables, spare parts, tools, and other items from approved/new vendors.
• Obtain and compare quotations, negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
• Coordinate with vendors regarding order status, delivery schedules, shortages, and quality issues.
• Follow up on pending purchase orders and ensure timely material delivery.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers.
• Maintain purchase records, quotations, POs, invoices, and vendor documents.
• Support vendor evaluation and development activities.

Stores / Inventory

• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, specifications, and supporting documents.
• Prepare/maintain GRN (Goods Receipt Note) and other material receipt documentation.
• Properly store and identify materials to ensure easy retrieval and prevent damage.
• Issue materials against approved Material Requisitions/indents.
• Maintain stock registers and inventory records accurately.
• Monitor minimum/maximum stock levels and initiate replenishment requirements.
• Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
• Identify slow-moving, obsolete, excess, and damaged inventory.
• Ensure proper housekeeping and safe storage practices in the stores.

Coordination & Documentation

• Coordinate with Production, Maintenance, Quality, Accounts, and other departments for material requirements.
• Verify invoices against PO, GRN, and supporting documents before forwarding them to Accounts.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for audit purposes.
• Prepare periodic reports on purchases, inventory, pending orders, and stock status.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement and inventory procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Commerce, Logistics, or a related field.
• 6 months – 1 year of relevant experience in Stores, Purchase, Procurement, or Inventory Management.
• Good knowledge of purchase and inventory processes.
• Experience in ERP/software systems such as SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar systems is preferred.
• Good MS Excel skills.
• Strong vendor negotiation and follow-up skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹19,000.00 per month
