Purchase Assistant to CMD

Job Summary

The Purchase Assistant to the Managing Director will support procurement and sourcing activities while assisting the MD in strategic purchasing decisions. The role requires a candidate with an engineering background who can understand technical specifications, evaluate suppliers, coordinate with engineering and production teams, and ensure efficient procurement of materials, equipment, and services.

qualification : Btech/ BE Mechanical engneering

Exprience : 5+ years Exprience in purchase in the Manufacturing of transformers/transformers components/ any engineering manufacturing company

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement Support

• Assist the MD in planning and executing procurement strategies.
• Identify and source suppliers for raw materials, machinery, and engineering components.
• Prepare purchase orders (POs) and ensure timely processing of procurement requests.

2. Technical Evaluation

• Review and understand technical specifications, drawings, and engineering requirements.
• Compare supplier quotations based on technical compliance and commercial terms.
• Assist the MD in evaluating vendors for quality, cost, and delivery capability.

3. Vendor Coordination

• Communicate with suppliers regarding quotations, order confirmations, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and supplier performance records.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
