Purchase Associate

Job Summary:

Aeron Systems is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Purchase Associate to manage day-to-day tactical procurement operations. In this role, you will be responsible for handling urgent local sourcing, managing low-value consumables, and facilitating regular IT and stock item ordering. By efficiently managing these foundational purchasing tasks, you will provide critical operational support to the Purchase Manager, enabling the department to focus on strategic sourcing, cost optimization, and structural growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Handling local procurement and sourcing vendors for urgent parts/components locally.
• Managing urgent local services.
• Regular ordering of low-cost, finalized, and proven stock items.
• Handling regular IT material procurement.
• Managing low-value procurement and consumables.
• Support Purchase Manager, to focus on strategic sourcing, vendor development, cost optimization, audits, system improvements, and cross-functional coordination, which are critical at this stage of organizational growth.

Required Qualification and Experience:

• B.Sc (Electricals) / BE (Electricals) / MBA
• Fluency in English
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in the purchase Dept. of an industrial / electronics firm.
