Purchase Coordinator

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage purchase operations, including procurement planning, vendor development, and cost reduction.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure best prices and terms.
• Develop strategies for supply chain development and sourcing.
• Create and manage purchase orders for materials and services.
• Day to day coordination after placement of purchase orders.

Desired Candidate Profile

• Strong knowledge of purchase order creation, vendor negotiation, and procurement planning.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Experience in Railways industry preferably or engineering & construction and auto components may also be considered.
• experience in bulk procurement of engineering items all types.
• Knows Proper maintenance of stock records and its consumption and balance stock.
