Liberty Books Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a professional, mature, analytical, and detail-oriented Purchase Data Analyst to join our Purchase Department in Karachi.

This role is ideal for someone who can go beyond maintaining spreadsheets — someone who can understand data, identify trends, forecast demand, and convert insights into better purchasing decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate purchase, sales, inventory, and outlet-wise records
• Coordinate with outlets to ensure proper data synchronization and timely reporting
• Monitor product-wise and outlet-wise sales and stock movement
• Identify fast-moving, slow-moving, and high-demand products
• Analyze historical data to identify purchasing trends and patterns
• Prepare MIS reports, dashboards, and management summaries
• Forecast future product demand based on historical sales and market trends
• Recommend what to purchase, when to purchase, and required quantities
• Identify potential overstocking and stock-out situations
• Coordinate with Purchase, Warehouse, Sales, and Outlet teams
• Maintain data accuracy and investigate discrepancies
• Provide management with data-driven insights and actionable recommendations

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Statistics, BBA, or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in Data Analysis, MIS, Purchase, Inventory, Retail Analytics, or Business Intelligence
• Advanced MS Excel skills — Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, Power Query, data cleaning & reporting
• Experience with ERP/POS or inventory management systems will be an advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and data accuracy
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to manage data from multiple outlets and departments

Special Requirement

A genuine interest in books is mandatory.

The ideal candidate should have an understanding of books, authors, genres, publishing trends, and customer preferences, and should be able to use data to identify which books/products are likely to perform well in the future.
