Purchase Engineer

Purpose of Role/Job Summary:

To Analyze and negotiate with suppliers to identify and select those capable of delivering high-quality materials at competitive prices within required timelines

Roles & Responsibility:

• Select appropriate suppliers to source the correct materials through comprehensive market research, product evaluation, and negotiations; issue purchase orders accordingly.
• Manage and monitor supplier performance across quality, cost, delivery, and responsiveness, conducting periodic reviews in compliance with ISO standards.
• Review and optimize the supplier base to ensure alignment with the overall sourcing strategy.
• Conduct regular supplier performance reviews to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Prepare monthly performance reports focused on sourcing effectiveness and procurement requirements.
• Apply effective supplier management methodologies and procurement strategies to achieve competitive pricing.
• Coordinate closely with vendors to support ongoing quality improvement efforts.
• Experience in Procurement of raw material like Round bar,Pipe,pipe fittings ,Valves and Electrical, Insulation, etc. in Manufacturing sector with exposure to Engineering industry.
• Strong analytical skills and a data driven mindset
