PURCHASE EXECUTIVE – CIVIL

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Purchase Executive – Civil who will be responsible for procurement of construction materials, equipment, and other project-related requirements while ensuring quality, competitive pricing, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle procurement of civil construction materials such as cement, steel, sand, aggregates, pipes, fittings, RCC materials, etc.
• Identify and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, negotiate rates, and finalize purchase orders.
• Coordinate with project/site teams to understand material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and maintain Purchase Orders (POs), comparative statements, quotations, and vendor records.
• Ensure materials are purchased as per required quality and technical specifications.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials at project sites.
• Coordinate with stores and accounts departments regarding material receipt and invoices.
• Maintain proper documentation of purchases and supplier transactions.
• Monitor material prices and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Resolve issues related to material quality, quantity, delivery, and billing.

Qualification:

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech. in Civil Engineering preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in purchase/procurement in civil construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of construction materials and civil engineering specifications.
• Good negotiation, communication, and vendor-management skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

Preferred Experience:
Experience in WSS, UGD, WTP, STP, pipeline, RCC, and other infrastructure projects will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
