Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities:

1. Procurement of IT Goods and Services:

• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for IT hardware, software, and services.
• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of IT-related equipment as per organizational requirements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand IT requirements and specifications.

2. RFID and Biometrics Device Imports:

• Handle procurement and importation of RFID and biometric devices.
• Coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities to ensure smooth import operations.
• Manage import documentation and compliance with regulations.

3. Supplier Management:

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with domestic and international suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timelines.
• Conduct supplier audits and ensure adherence to agreements.

4. Cost Optimization and Negotiation:

• Achieve cost savings through effective negotiation and strategic sourcing.
• Benchmark market rates for IT and biometric products and services.
• Implement cost-control measures without compromising on quality.

5. Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and legal requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, supplier agreements, and import/export documentation.
• Prepare periodic reports on procurement metrics, including cost savings and supplier performance.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, IT, or related fields.
• Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with IT goods, RFID technology, and biometric devices.
• Experience with Imports: Understanding of international trade regulations, HS codes, and import documentation.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze procurement data and trends.
• Negotiation and Communication: Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
• Tools and Software: Proficiency in ERP systems, procurement tools, and MS Office.

Preferred Attributes:

• Previous experience in IT procurement or RFID and biometrics technology.
• Knowledge of global markets and suppliers.
