Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, negotiate with vendors, and ensure timely availability of materials and services required for business operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong negotiation skills, vendor management experience, and knowledge of purchasing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts with vendors.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with departments to forecast procurement needs.
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Resolve issues related to deliveries, quality concerns, and invoice discrepancies.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare procurement reports and analyze purchasing data to support decision-making.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-2 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain operations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Zoho, Tally, etc.).
• Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of vendor management and procurement processes.
