Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

Manage and process **Purchase Orders (POs)** as per approved requirements.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
Identify and develop **new suppliers/vendors** for raw materials, consumables, components, and other requirements.
Obtain quotations, compare prices, and support **vendor negotiation & cost optimization**.
Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and ensure continuous material availability.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Stores, Production, and Planning teams.
Ensure optimum inventory levels and minimize **stock-outs, overstocking, and obsolete inventory**.
Follow up on pending purchase orders and resolve supplier-related issues.
Maintain purchase records, vendor data, and procurement documentation.
Support smooth material availability for uninterrupted plant operations.

Required Qualifications

Graduate/Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Supply Chain, or a related field.
**5 to 8 years of relevant experience** in Purchase/Procurement.
Experience in the **Rubber, Plastic, Automotive Components, or Manufacturing Industry** preferred.
Good knowledge of Purchase Order management, supplier development, and inventory management.
Strong negotiation, follow-up, and vendor coordination skills.
Proficiency in **MS Excel and ERP systems**.
Good communication and analytical skills.
