Purchase Executive

1. Strategic Procurement & End-to-End Execution ("Lock & Key") • • • Take end-to-end ownership of material purchasing across raw materials, structural steel, finishing items, MEP components, and site consumables. Manage the complete purchasing lifecycle: Purchase Requisition (PR) intake, Request for Quotation (RFQ) processing, Comparative Statement (CS) evaluation, Purchase Order (PO) issuance, and final site delivery. Implement value-engineering and strategic bulk buying practices to optimize overall project procurement budgets without compromising quality standards. 2. Aggressive Commercial Negotiation & Contracting • • • • Lead rate negotiations with OEMs, primary manufacturers, stockists, and major material vendors. Secure highly competitive unit rates, favorable credit periods, extended payment terms, and strict delivery timelines. Structure and finalize rate contracts, annual supply agreements, and master purchase agreements for management approval. Resolve commercial disputes regarding damaged goods, price variations, or short-shipments efficiently. 3. Strategic Vendor Management & Quality Governance • • • Build, expand, and evaluate a robust nationwide vendor and stockist database across key material categories. Monitor vendor performance using KPIs including delivery lead time, product quality stability, rate competitiveness, and service reliability. Coordinate with site engineers and QA/QC teams to ensure all delivered materials strictly comply with technical specifications and approved samples. 4. Documentation, MIS & Financial Reconciliation • • • Maintain audit-ready procurement records including PRs, POs, Delivery Challans, and vendor invoices. Coordinate closely with Accounts & Finance to facilitate timely vendor payment releases as per agreed credit terms. Generate monthly procurement dashboards, price trend reports, savings trackers, and consumption audits for executive leadership. Role & responsibilities
