Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement of laboratory reagents, consumables, chemicals, equipment, and general supplies.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors to ensure cost-effective and timely procurement.
• Generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs), Purchase Orders (POs), and maintain procurement records in Mercury software.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores to avoid stock shortages or overstocking.
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Verify invoices, purchase orders, and goods received before processing payments.
• Maintain vendor database, pricing history, and supplier performance records.
• Coordinate with laboratory, stores, finance, and other departments to meet procurement requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and quality standards.
• Support periodic stock audits and inventory reconciliation.
