Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

The candidates primary role is purchase and procurement of spares, consumables and packing materials for a manufacturing company.

Evaluate vendor quotations to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project.

Processing of Material Indents, Co-ordination with site team, BOQ/ Enquiries floating to suppliers, Taking Quotations from suppliers, Negotiation and Material follow-ups.

Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and overseas vendors.

Arrange Rate and Quotation from vendor / supplier Or find best vendor for purchasing.

Able to identify the local suppliers and find cost effective procurement solutions.

Preferred candidate profile

The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree and reside in Mumbai with means of transport. The candidate should be good with numbers and have a strong attention to detail with accuracy in their work. Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Tally ERP is strongly preferred. Prior experience in procurement is a must and candidate must be knowledgeable about import procedures and MIS reporting.

Reporting: Direct reporting to AGM Procurement and timely reporting to Director
