Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive with 5–7 years of relevant experience, preferably from the Chemical or Manufacturing industry, to handle day-to-day procurement activities and vendor coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchase activities as per company requirements.

· Source and procure raw materials, chemicals, consumables, packing materials, spares, and other required items.

· Obtain quotations from suppliers and prepare comparative statements.

· Coordinate with vendors regarding price, availability, delivery schedules, payment terms, and other commercial conditions.

· Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.

· Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.

· Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Accounts, and other departments for material requirements and delivery status.

· Maintain regular communication with existing and potential vendors.

· Resolve issues related to short supply, delayed deliveries, damaged materials,

• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, quotations, POs, and related documentation.
• Assist in identifying new suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.
• Monitor market prices and support cost-saving initiatives.
• Ensure all purchase activities are carried out as per company policies and procedures.
• Prepare purchase-related reports and MIS as required.

Candidate Profile

• Graduate in B.Com, BBA, or equivalent qualification.
• 5–7 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
• Candidates with experience in the Industrial Chemical/ Production industry will be preferred.

· Experience in procurement of chemicals, raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, or engineering spares will be an advantage.

· Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP.

· Strong vendor coordination, negotiation, communication, and follow-up skills.

· Should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of handling multiple purchase requirements.
