Purchase Executive

Job Summary

We are looking for a Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure timely availability of materials as per company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchasing and procurement activities.
• Identify and evaluate suitable suppliers and vendors.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate with suppliers.
• Prepare and release purchase orders as per approved requirements.
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and other departments for material requirements.
• Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, and supplier documents.
• Monitor material prices and support cost-reduction initiatives.
• Ensure purchased materials meet required quality and specifications.
• Resolve issues related to delivery, quality, quantity, and documentation with suppliers.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and new suppliers.
• Assist in maintaining supplier performance and procurement reports.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of purchasing and procurement processes.
• Good negotiation and communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
• Good follow-up and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple requirements.

Qualification

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Commerce, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,889.79 - ₹37,185.18 per month
