Responsibility

• Coordinate, and manage all administrative, contractual and operational aspects of purchase function
• Responsible for identifying vendors on the basis of quality, cost and delivery and maintaining the approved vendor list
• Prepare the purchasing plan for short and long term requirements for timely delivery
• Responsible for receiving and scrutiny of Purchase indents
• Prepare the purchase order
• Periodically conduct assessment of the Vendors on their performance on quality and delivery
• Maintain records of goods ordered and received
• Design plans to reduce costs through negotiations, alternate sourcing etc.
• Coordinate meetings with Vendors and suppliers

Document Control, MIS& Reporting

• Responsible for Document and Data control pertaining to his Department
• Preparing monthly MIS for his area of work
• Closing of all non-conformities as per schedule

Key Performance Indicator
Key Performance Indicator to be achieved by the role holder include

• % cost reduction achieved through low prices.Only for opex- 10%
• No. of customer complaints to be reduced.
• No. of new Vendors developed
• % production loss due to material procurement delays.Monitor production loss due to material procurement delays
• Execution of Purchase Orders.2 days for domestic and 5 days for international from receiving of Quote
