About the Role

We are looking for a smart, proactive, and result-oriented Purchase Executive to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day purchase and procurement activities.
• Identify and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
• Collect and compare quotations from multiple suppliers.
• Negotiate price, quality, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Follow up on pending orders and ensure smooth material availability.
• Maintain proper purchase records, quotations, invoices, and vendor details.
• Coordinate with the Production, Store, Accounts, and Management teams.
• Monitor stock/material requirements and arrange purchases accordingly.
• Evaluate supplier performance based on price, quality, and delivery.
• Resolve purchase-related issues such as delays, shortages, quality concerns, or discrepancies.
• Maintain a healthy relationship with existing vendors and continuously search for new suppliers.
• Ensure purchases are made within approved budgets and company requirements.
• Prepare purchase reports and maintain accurate documentation.

Skills We Are Looking For

• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong follow-up and vendor-management ability.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel / MS Office.
• Ability to compare quotations and analyze prices.
• Good numerical and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Candidates with knowledge of ERP / Tally / SAP / Purchase Software will be preferred.
• Candidates from a manufacturing, engineering, trading, or industrial background will be an added advantage.
