JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for an experienced Purchase Executive to manage the company's day-to-day procurement activities. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, coordinating with vendors, negotiating prices, preparing purchase orders, monitoring deliveries, and ensuring timely availability of materials for production.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage day-to-day purchase and procurement activities for the manufacturing unit
• Identify and source raw materials, consumables, packaging materials, and other required items
• Search for new suppliers and maintain a database of existing vendors
• Obtain and compare quotations from multiple suppliers
• Negotiate price, quality, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) after management approval
• Follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials
• Coordinate with Production, Store, Accounts, Sales, and Logistics departments
• Check material requirements based on production schedules and inventory levels
• Maintain proper records of purchase orders, quotations, invoices, delivery challans, and vendor documents
• Monitor pending purchase orders and ensure timely closure
• Coordinate with the Store team regarding material receipt and shortages/damages
• Resolve issues related to incorrect quantity, quality, pricing, delayed deliveries, and rejected materials
• Compare vendor rates and maintain purchase rate comparison sheets
• Maintain vendor performance and purchase history records
• Assist in controlling procurement costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly purchase reports and MIS

REQUIRED SKILLS

• Good knowledge of manufacturing purchase and procurement processes
• Experience in purchasing raw materials and manufacturing-related items
• Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and purchase-related MIS
• Ability to compare quotations and analyze rates
• Good understanding of GST, purchase invoices, e-way bills, delivery challans, and basic commercial documentation
• Knowledge of Tally/ERP/Purchase Management Software
• Strong follow-up and coordination skills
• Good mathematical and analytical skills

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION

• Graduate / Diploma in Purchase, Supply Chain, Operations, Commerce, or a related field
• 2–4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing company

PREFERRED CANDIDATE

• Prior experience in a manufacturing company preferred
• Experience in raw material procurement, vendor development, rate negotiation, and purchase order management will be an advantage
• Should be proactive, responsible, and capable of independently handling day-to-day purchase activities

Pay: ₹30,000.00 per month
