What they need
Identify & evaluate potential suppliers based on price, quality, delivery capability and reliability.
Manage the complete procurement cycle from purchase requisition - Quotation Comparison - Negotiation - PO.
Prepare & Process Purchase Orders through the ERP system. Obtain quotations from approved / potential vendors & prepare comparative statements.
Track purchase orders & ensure timely delivery of materials.
Coordinate with Stores, Production Accounts , Planning and other departments for material requirements.
Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders , delivery schedules , shortages and discrepancies.
Ensure procurement activities are carried out in accordance with company policies and approved procedures.
Maintain proper vendor records & support vendor evaluation and development activities.
