Purchase Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement of civil, construction and industrial project materials.
• Source and evaluate vendors for cement, steel, structural materials, fabrication items, hardware, electrical, plumbing, safety and site consumables.
• Collect and compare quotations, negotiate price, quality, credit terms and delivery timelines.
• Prepare Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely material delivery at project sites.
• Coordinate with Project, Site, Stores, Engineering and Accounts teams for material requirements.
• Maintain vendor database, purchase records, quotations, POs and delivery tracking.
• Follow up with suppliers for pending orders, dispatches and material shortages.
• Ensure procurement is aligned with approved specifications, BOQ and project requirements.
• Identify new vendors and develop reliable supplier relationships.
• Monitor market rates and support cost-effective procurement.
• Handle material returns, replacements and quality-related vendor issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure compliance with company purchase procedures.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of construction and industrial materials.
• Experience in vendor development, quotation comparison and negotiation.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel, ERP/Purchase software and documentation.
• Strong follow-up, coordination and communication skills.
• Ability to work with project/site teams and handle multiple purchase requirements.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with experience in Civil Construction, PEB, Industrial Construction, Infrastructure, Engineering or Manufacturing industries will be preferred.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
