Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchase Executive with experience in the fabrication/manufacturing industry. The candidate will be responsible for procurement of raw materials, vendor management, purchase coordination, and ensuring timely availability of materials for smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of fabrication materials, raw materials, consumables, hardware, and engineering items.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new vendors and suppliers.
• Obtain quotations, compare prices, and negotiate for best commercial terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (POs).
• Follow up with suppliers for timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, and Accounts departments.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material supply.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor database, and documentation.
• Ensure material quality and compliance with specifications.
• Support cost reduction and alternate vendor development activities.

Required Skills

• Knowledge of fabrication materials, steel items, and industrial consumables.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Good understanding of procurement processes.
• Knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/SAP systems preferred.
• Good communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Qualification

Any Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical preferred)
Experience in fabrication or manufacturing industry preferred.

Preferred Candidate Profile

2-5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement. Experience in fabrication, sheet metal, engineering, or manufacturing industry.

Immediate joiners preferred.
