Purchase Executive

Roles & Responsibilities

• Handle procurement of construction materials, tools, equipment, and site requirements.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and supervisors to collect material requirements.
• Identify reliable suppliers and vendors for construction materials.
• Obtain quotations from multiple vendors and prepare comparative statements.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) after management approval.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials to construction sites.
• Monitor purchase requests, material availability, and stock requirements.
• Coordinate with the accounts department for supplier invoices and payments.
• Maintain purchase records, vendor details, invoices, and delivery challans.
• Verify material quality, quantity, and specifications against approved purchase orders.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders and delayed deliveries.
• Prepare daily and monthly purchase reports for management.
• Maintain cost control and ensure purchases are within the approved project budget.
• Handle urgent site material requirements and coordinate timely procurement.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: Any Degree / Diploma / B.E. Civil
• Experience: 2–5 years in construction purchasing preferred
• Good knowledge of civil construction materials and market prices.
• Strong vendor negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, purchase documentation, and inventory management.
• Ability to handle multiple construction site requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
