Purchase Executive / Purchase Trainee

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist the Purchase team in daily procurement activities.
• Send purchase enquiries/RFQs and collect supplier quotations.
• Compare quotations based on price, quality and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with vendors for material availability and timely delivery.
• Assist in preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and maintaining purchase records.
• Follow up with suppliers regarding pending orders and deliveries.
• Coordinate with Stores, Production, Quality, Maintenance and Accounts teams.
• Maintain purchase data, reports and documentation in MS Excel/ERP.
• Assist in identifying and developing new suppliers.
• Support the Purchase Manager in procurement and cost-comparison activities.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Qualification: B.Com / B.Sc / Diploma / BE or relevant graduation.
• Experience: Fresher / 01 year in Purchase, Procurement, Supply Chain or Manufacturing.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and computer applications.
• Good communication, negotiation and vendor follow-up skills.
• Good numerical, analytical and documentation skills.
• Candidates with knowledge of ERP/SAP/Tally, Purchase Orders, Inventory or Stores will be preferred.
• Knowledge of VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Table and basic Excel formulas is an added advantage.
• Willingness to learn and build a career in Purchase & Procurement.
• Candidates should be comfortable working from Satara MIDC and available for the NATS 1-year contract.
