Job Title: Purchase Executive - HVAC

Dept: Purchase / Procurement

Qualifications: Diploma / BE in Mechanical Engineering or Graduate with relevant experience

Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the HVAC / MEP / Construction industry

Work Timings: 9:30 AM to 6 PM

Week Offs: All Sundays & 3rd Saturday

Location: Bangalore

Salary Range: Upto 6 LPA

Job Purpose:

To handle the procurement of HVAC materials, components, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner while ensuring quality, vendor reliability, and adherence to company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and evaluate vendors / suppliers for HVAC equipment, ducting materials, electrical items, and related consumables.
• Obtain competitive quotations, prepare comparison sheets, and negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders (POs) and follow up with vendors for timely delivery of materials.
• Coordinate with the Design, Planning, and Project Execution teams to understand material requirements and delivery timelines.
• Maintain and update the approved vendor list and procurement records.
• Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.
• Ensure materials meet the required technical specifications and quality standards.
• Track and resolve issues related to delivery delays, material discrepancies, or rejections.
• Support accounts in verifying supplier bills and payment follow-ups.
• Assist in developing procurement strategies to reduce costs and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures.

Technical Skills:

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Good understanding of materials such as ducts, insulation, chillers, AHUs, FCUs, compressors, etc.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP software (Tally, SAP, or similar).

Soft Skills:

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Good coordination and follow-up abilities.
• Attention to detail and time management.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• On-time material delivery rate.
• Cost savings achieved through negotiation.
• Supplier performance and reliability.
