Purchase Intern

We are looking for a Purchase Intern who will assist our procurement team in sourcing IT products, coordinating with vendors, comparing quotations, and supporting day-to-day purchase activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for product availability, pricing, and delivery timelines.
• Collect and compare quotations from multiple vendors.
• Prepare comparative statements for pricing and specifications.
• Source IT hardware, software, networking, security, and other technology products as per customer requirements.
• Follow up with vendors regarding quotations, orders, dispatches, and deliveries.
• Assist in preparing Purchase Orders (POs) and other procurement-related documents.
• Maintain vendor and product pricing records in Excel/ERP/CRM.
• Verify product specifications, part numbers, warranty, and commercial terms before placing orders.
• Coordinate with the sales and technical teams to understand product requirements.
• Track order status and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Maintain proper documentation of quotations, POs, invoices, and delivery details.
• Support the team in identifying new vendors and competitive pricing.
• Perform other procurement-related activities as assigned.

Required Skills

• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Good attention to detail.
• Ability to compare prices, specifications, and commercial terms.
• Good follow-up and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work with multiple vendors simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn about IT products and procurement processes.
• Organized and responsible approach toward work.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree / pursuing Bachelor's degree in B.Com, BBA, MBA, or any relevant field.
• Freshers are welcome to apply.

Pay: From ₹5,000.00 per month
