Job Summary: The Purchase Manager (Electrical) is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of electrical materials, equipment, and components required for projects and operations. The role focuses on vendor management, cost control, quality assurance, inventory planning, and timely procurement to ensure smooth project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Procure electrical materials, equipment, and accessories such as cables, transformers, switchgears, MCCBs, MCBs, panels, motors, lighting fixtures, and control components.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and manufacturers for electrical products.
• Obtain quotations, conduct comparative analysis, and negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue Purchase Orders (POs) and ensure timely delivery of materials as per project requirements.
• Coordinate with project, engineering, stores, and finance departments for procurement planning.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure the availability of critical electrical materials.
• Verify technical specifications and ensure purchased materials comply with project requirements and industry standards.
• Maintain supplier databases, procurement records, and contract documentation.
• Track market trends, material price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing opportunities.
• Resolve supplier-related issues regarding quality, quantity, delivery, and warranty claims.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and safety standards.
