Role Overview

Star Ashiyana is seeking a highly capable and intellectual Purchase Manager with strong expertise in material procurement, vendor management, and commercial negotiations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring cost-effective purchasing while maintaining high quality standards and timely availability of materials for projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for construction/site materials
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors and suppliers
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to achieve cost efficiency
• Ensure procurement of quality materials in line with project requirements
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and avoid stock shortages or excess
• Coordinate closely with site, project, and accounts teams
• Prepare and process purchase orders, invoices, and related documentation
• Track deliveries and ensure timely availability of materials at site
• Conduct market research to explore new vendors and cost-saving opportunities
• Monitor vendor performance and maintain long-term relationships

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of construction materials (cement, steel, fittings, etc.)
• Excellent negotiation and cost optimization skills
• Strong vendor management and relationship-building abilities
• Good analytical thinking and decision-making capability
• Proficiency in MS Excel and procurement systems
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Graduate in any discipline (relevant certification is an added advantage)
• 4–5 years of experience in procurement/purchase (construction/real estate preferred)
• Smart, proactive, and detail-oriented individual
• High level of integrity and accountability

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
