Purchase Manager

The HVAC Billing & Estimation Engineer handles end-to-end commercial management, from reviewing tenders and calculating material quantities to preparing client running account (RA) bills, managing subcontractor payments, and tracking project variations. [1, 2, 3]Key ResponsibilitiesEstimation & Tendering

• Tender Evaluation: Scrutinize Request for Proposals (RFPs), architectural/HVAC drawings, and tender specifications.
• Quantity Take-Off: Perform accurate takeoff calculations for low-side and high-side HVAC items (chilled water systems, VRF/VRV systems, ducting, piping, and ventilation).
• BOQ & Costing: Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQs) and cost estimates based on client requirements and equipment selections.
• Vendor Quotation Evaluation: Float inquiries, collect vendor/supplier quotes, and prepare comparative statements for procurement.
• Rate Analysis: Conduct rate analysis for extra items or non-tender variations. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

Billing & Commercial Management

• Client Billing: Prepare and submit RA Bills and Final Bills in coordination with site measurements and project consultants.
• Measurement Sheets: Maintain and sign off on Measurement Books (MB) and reconcile executed quantities with approved drawings and BOQs.
• Subcontractor Management: Check, verify, and certify vendor and subcontractor bills according to contract terms.
• Reconciliation & Tracking: Prepare material reconciliation statements and track outstanding invoice payments or certification statuses.
• Variations & Claims: Prepare documentation for change orders, variation claims, and price escalation adjustments. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (B.E./B.Tech) or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. [1]
• Experience: 2 to 6 years of relevant experience in HVAC, MEP contracting, or EPC environments. [1, 2]
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in reading HVAC drawings, schematics, and layouts.
• Strong knowledge of quantity surveying, HVAC equipment pricing, and contract conditions.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel, AutoCAD, and project tracking tools. [1]
• Soft Skills: Analytical thinking, strong numerical aptitude, and coordination skills for dealing with clients, vendors, and site teams. [1, 2, 3]

Pay: ₹16,995.20 - ₹56,819.10 per month
