Purchase Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Purchase Manager to lead our procurement function. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with vendors, and ensuring cost-effective, timely supply of goods while upholding quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute strategic purchasing plans aligned with company objectives

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers and vendors

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms to achieve cost savings

• Prepare, issue, and track purchase orders through to delivery

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with stores to prevent stockouts

• Liaise with Sales, Accounts, Operations, and Warehouse teams for demand planning

• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships; conduct periodic performance reviews

• Ensure on-time delivery of materials and resolve supply chain bottlenecks

• Analyze market trends, pricing, and identify cost-reduction opportunities

• Maintain accurate procurement records and generate MIS reports for management

• Ensure full compliance with company procurement policies and SOPs

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, or related field

• 3–5 years of proven experience in purchasing/procurement.

• Strong negotiation, vendor management, and contract management skills

• Hands-on experience with inventory management and procurement software

• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems

• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills

• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
