Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage procurement activities for our adhesive solutions manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, negotiating with suppliers, ensuring timely procurement, maintaining optimum inventory levels, and developing reliable vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete purchase and procurement cycle for raw materials, packaging materials, consumables, and other requirements.
• Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery timelines, and reliability.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential vendors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, credit periods, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
• Procure chemical/raw materials required for adhesive manufacturing while ensuring required quality specifications.
• Coordinate with Production, Stores, Quality, R&D, Accounts, and Management to understand material requirements.
• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays or stock-outs.
• Monitor purchase orders from placement to delivery and follow up with suppliers regularly.
• Maintain appropriate inventory levels and support effective inventory and working-capital management.
• Identify alternative suppliers and materials to reduce procurement risks and costs.
• Compare quotations, prepare comparative statements, and obtain necessary approvals.
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues related to quality, quantity, pricing, and delivery.
• Maintain proper documentation of purchase orders, quotations, vendor records, and procurement reports.
• Ensure procurement is carried out as per company policies and approved specifications.
• Continuously explore opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
