PURCHASE MANAGER

1. Procurement Management:

• Identify, evaluate, and select vendors based on price, quality, service, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
• Issue purchase orders and track timely delivery of materials.
• Develop alternate supplier sources to mitigate risk.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate performance periodically.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and statutory regulations.

Cost Control & Budgeting:

• Optimize procurement costs without compromising quality and timelines.
• Forecast procurement requirements based on production schedules and historical data.
• Ensure alignment with the annual procurement budget.

4. ERP/Software Utilization:

• Manage inventory and procurement modules in ERP software.
• Generate periodic reports on stock levels, consumption, and procurement metrics.

5. Audit & Compliance:

• Facilitate internal and external audits of store and purchase records.
• Ensure that storage practices adhere to safety, fire, and environmental norms.

6. Team Leadership:

• Manage and supervise a team of storekeepers, purchase assistants, and logistics staff.
• Provide training, performance feedback, and motivate the team to meet department goals.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Sound knowledge of supply chain and inventory control principles.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
• Analytical mindset with problem-solving ability.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Leadership and team management capability.

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
