Purchase Manager

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager/Procurement Manager to manage procurement activities at our construction site, ensuring timely availability of quality construction materials at competitive prices while maintaining cost efficiency and project timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage procurement of construction materials - plumbing, electrical, tiles, and other building materials.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers to obtain competitive prices and favourable payment terms.
• Ensure timely delivery of materials as per site requirements and construction schedules.
• Coordinate with the site engineers, project manager, and store department to plan material requirements.
• Prepare and manage purchase orders, quotations, comparative statements, and purchase records.
• Monitor material prices, market trends, supplier performance, and delivery schedules.
• Maintain proper documentation of purchases, invoices, delivery challans, and bills.
• Ensure quality and quantity of materials received as per purchase orders and approved specifications.
• Control procurement costs, minimize wastage, and prevent unnecessary purchases.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and contractors.

Educational Qualification:

Graduate in any discipline, preferably in Commerce, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years of relevant experience in construction or real estate procurement.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, specifications, and market rates.
• Good negotiation, vendor management, and cost-control skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and purchase documentation.
• Strong coordination, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and meet tight project deadlines.

Pay: ₹14,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
