Purchase Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable vendors based on price, quality, and delivery reliability. [1, 2]
• Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, payment schedules, service-level agreements (SLAs), and bulk discounts with suppliers. [1, 2, 3]
• Purchase Order Operations: Review, approve, and track purchase orders from requisition to final delivery and payment. [1, 2]
• Inventory & Demand Planning: Collaborate with warehouse, production, and sales teams to analyze consumption trends and maintain optimal stock levels (preventing shortages or overstock). [1, 2]
• Cost Control & Budgeting: Drive annual cost-reduction initiatives, benchmark market pricing, and manage departmental budgets. [1, 2]
• Risk & Quality Mitigation: Address shipment delays, defective goods, or price volatility, and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations. [1, 2]
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and evaluate buyers, purchasing agents, and support staff. [1, 2]

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
