Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager with 17–25 years of experience in Power Transformer / Electrical Equipment Manufacturing to manage raw material procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor development and commercial negotiations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage end-to-end raw material procurement for Power Transformer manufacturing.
• Handle procurement of CRGO, Copper, Aluminium, Steel, Transformer Oil, Insulation Materials and other critical materials.
• Develop and manage suppliers and identify alternate sources.
• Lead price negotiations, cost reduction and commercial finalization.
• Monitor commodity prices and market trends for effective procurement.
• Ensure timely availability of materials as per production and project requirements.
• Evaluate suppliers based on Quality, Cost and Delivery (QCD).
• Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores, Design and Finance for smooth procurement.
• Monitor Purchase Orders, delivery schedules and critical material requirements.
• Lead and guide the Purchase team.
• Drive cost-saving, vendor development and inventory optimization initiatives.

Candidate Profile:

• 17–25 years of relevant experience in Purchase / Procurement / Strategic Sourcing.
• Candidates from Power Transformer / Transformer / Electrical Equipment Manufacturing industries preferred.
• Strong experience in raw material purchase and vendor management.
• Good knowledge of procurement of CRGO, Copper, Aluminium, Steel and Transformer Oil.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience with ERP/SAP preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
