Purchase Officer

Position Title: Purchase officer-Flour

Function: Purchase

Position Overview: To Maida buying operations, dispatches & custom milling operations, quality

audits etc.

Key Stakeholders Internal: Purchase Team, Quality team, Finance team ,Plant team ,Regulatory team and Planning

team

External: Suppliers ,Govt officers etc

Educational Qualification: Graduate

Experience: 5-7 years of experience of managing commodity supply.FMCG business

Functional Competencies

• Has handled wheat/Grains/ Maida buying and operations
• Proficient in using advance MS Excel and generating various MIS Reports
• Sound knowledge of SAP (MM module)

• Good in stack holder management
• Good understanding about flour milling

Key Responsibilities SAP PO creations : PO creation in SAP, SAP reports, PO amendments

MIS reports : Various MIS reports in Excel . Follow up with field team and vendors

Market Intelligence: Tracking of Maida and Bran prices daily basis. Competition benchmarking

(Price ,quantity etc)

Custom Milling Operations: DO coordination, Wheat Invoicing, payments and GRN

Coordination.

Quality Audit: Liaise with field team and suppliers and drive the quality work (Audits, Audit

closure,NPD work,FSSR ,FSSAI license )

New Vendor addition: Identify new vendors, Joint working with CQA team for new vendor

development, stabilized new vendor supplies.

Contracts-Preparing custom milling, Buy & sale, Maida contracts and ensure all compliance as

per contracts.

Reconciliation-Vendor payments reconciliations , NDCs, Custom milling,Buy and sale

reconciliations,

RFQ-Driving flour RFQ and ensure maximum quotation every day for flour buying

Pending POs review-Weekly review of Pos and take appropriate action on pending Pos .Ensure

contract compliance and highlight exceptions
