ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

* Manage end-to-end procurement of electronic components, raw materials and production inputs.

* Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business requirements.

* Handle RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, quotation analysis and vendor selection.

* Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms and delivery schedules.

* Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships and monitor vendor performance.

* Ensure timely material availability to support uninterrupted production.

* Coordinate with Production, Planning, Quality, Stores and Logistics teams.

* Monitor procurement costs, budgets, inventory and supplier performance.

* Maintain procurement records and generate MIS reports through ERP/SAP.

* Handle import procurement, shipping logistics and customs coordination for senior-level roles.

* Lead and manage the Purchase/Stores team at Manager level.

QUALIFICATION

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Business Administration / Supply Chain / Commerce.

B.E./B.Tech preferred for electronics procurement roles.

CANDIDATE CHECKLIST
